Our Services
Surveys
We undertake surveys and provides impartial outline or comprehensive reports appropriate to your particular requirements.
Depending on the nature of the building and the type of information required the services would include a visit to the site to undertake a survey of the units and their environment and to provide a condition report with categorised recommendations for any appropriate works to address any existing deficiencies, reliability or performance issues and to comply with statutory requirements and/or good working practice including compliance, where appropriate, with DDA legislation insofar as is reasonably practicable.
Specifications
This bespoke consultancy service develops the project brief and, taking account of financial parameters, analyses the traffic and passenger handling requirements of the building to create a particular specification of plant and equipment sourced from independent component manufacturers whose research, development and high quality standards have made them reputable international market suppliers.
This approach enables the provision of exceptionally high levels of performance, energy efficiency and reliability utilising matched plant and equipment representing the ultimate in developed technological advances.
Maintenance Contracts
We can review existing contract arrangements to ensure that charges are reasonable and that the scope of maintenance contract suits the usage for that site.
Where appropriate, new contracts can be negotiated or tendered on the owners’ behalf to provide optimum servicing arrangements at the best value.
To maximise the economic life of plant and minimise interruptions to normal service resulting from unplanned maintenance it is crucial that the necessary PPM activities are properly and punctually carried out. The Robin Primrose Partnership can provide appraisal reports to ensure that maintenance schedules are being accurately followed.
Safety
Changes in legislation together with amendments to recommended examination & testing guidelines have imposed significant health and safety obligations upon those involved in the lift industry, not least upon the building owner.
The Robin Primrose Partnership provides guidance on such duties and how they affect any particular site, enabling a clear and specific approach to be implemented and ensuring the adoption of best practices to protect passengers and owners.
Services provide include the appraisal of recommendations submitted by the Owners’ Insurance Inspector and/or the incumbent maintenance contractor and the provision of advice on the validity of such recommendations.
Project Management
The significant investment that most lift engineering projects represents to building owners deserves to be undertaken to the highest standards.
Unfortunately, the nature of the competitive tendering process employed to select contractors has the inherent limitation that the installer is often cost rather than quality motivated.
To ensure that the Statutory and contractual obligations are observed by the installer The Robin Primrose Partnership can administer all sizes of lift projects from inception to completion or during critical construction stages as suits any particular project’s requirements.
